STAUFF Topics and Highlights at SMM
At SMM 2024, STAUFF will be presenting its range of pipe, tube and hose clamps specially tailored to the challenges of the maritime industry, continuing its success story in this sector.Since the development of plastic clamps, shipyards have been among the company's loyal customers. STAUFF received its first approval from Germanischer Lloyd back in 1968. Â
For example, STAUFF NRC pipe, tube and hose clamps are suitable for the vibration- and noise-damping installation of pipework.
The clamps have a specially shaped, two-part elastomer insert that effectively reduces vibrations and minimises noise.
The special contour of the insert enables the fastening of pipework with different diameters per clamp size, which contributes to a wide range of possible applications.Â
To meet the increasing complexity of hydraulically operated systems, STAUFF has continuously expanded the range of available materials.
For example, clamps made of flame-retardant materials in accordance with international guidelines and standards or products with different Shore hardnesses are offered to absorb vibrations and ensure high structural integrity.Â
The system MGR-plus from STAUFF, the advancement of the system 2+5 widely used in shipbuilding, reduces the installation space for hydraulic pipework systems, which offers significant advantages for on-site assembly under shipbuilding conditions.
It enables several pipes with different diameters to be fastened efficiently to a single weld plate, making it a space-saving and flexible solution.
In addition to other product highlights, the STAUFF Bond System will also be presented at SMM 2024, which ensures secure fastening of STAUFF clamps, especially in areas where welding is not possible or only possible with great effort for safety reasons.
